Acoustic Louver has a sound baffle designed to allow airflow through ventilation openings while reducing the radiation of noise. Typical applications for our acoustic louvers used in conjunction with machine sound enclosures, sound barrier walls and sound control rooms to allow silenced airflow. They use acoustic grade glass fiber as the principle sound-absorbing mechanism. They are aerodynamically shaped to minimize pressure drop. Lips are designed in to the splitters to protect against weather elements. A machine sound enclosure such as compressor, genset, backup generator and well pump are all candidates for silenced ventilation using ESPL Acoustic Louver.
Our acoustic screens and enclosures solve a wide range of environmental noise pollution problems emanating from mechanical plant and systems including:
- » Chillers
- » Compressors
- » Generators
- » Motors
- » Pumps
- » Roof top plant rooms
Several factors affect the control of the acoustical environment in any building such as noise propagation and flanking paths; transmission loss characteristics of walls, ceilings and floors; compatibility of windows and doors, the noise of HVAC systems; hardware and trim. Other considerations include fire ratings, aesthetics, structural integrity and the ability to meet specifications within budget constraints.
Our complete range of pre-engineered components and full design and installation service capabilities ensure that we can lay out a building for maximum efficiency and economy while protecting against noise and/or fire.
